Born from a deep-rooted passion for ocean exploration and a commitment to top-tier customer experience, Banzai Divers has carved a unique place in Hawaii's diving industry. Our founding mission, developed by a dedicated Midwestern-turned-Hawaiian diver, was to create an exceptional diving service unlike any other.

Banzai Divers is the result of the hard work and dedication of our founder, Devin Erickson, whose love for diving was born in the unlikely waters of a Kansas lake, and solidified in the vibrant underwater world of Jamaica. From this early love sprouted a dream of sharing the unique exhilaration of diving with others. Armed with this dream and a few swimsuits, Devin moved to Hawaii right after high school.

After years of honing his skills and working for various dive shops in Hawaii, Devin noticed a disconnect in the industry: the need for a more personalized and customer-oriented approach was being overlooked. This realization led to a new ambition: to build a diving company that put the customer experience at its heart, emphasizing smaller, more intimate groups where divers are valued and safety is paramount.

Today, Banzai Divers stands as a testament to this vision. With over a decade of experience and more than 10,000 dives under our belt, we focus on providing personalized and safe diving experiences. Our goal is to ensure that every diver, whether a seasoned expert or a curious beginner, is treated like an old friend and leaves with a deep appreciation for the wonder of Hawaiian diving.
